Appearance
Harm is a tall, very handsome man with a well-built and highly defined muscle structure. His skin is a somewhat dark olive tone, which, when coupled with his blue-silver eyes and silver-blue tinted hair, gives him a very exotic look. His new "Mechanoid" arm has a somewhat organic look, as opposed to his previous one, which was quite obviously mechanical. Generally speaking, Harm is only seen wearing his battle gear, which consists of a thick, high-collared black coat with blood red trim and gold buttons, fully done up. Over top that, he dons a flowing blood red cloak, which typically covers his whole left side, effectively concealing his Mechanoid arm. His pants, made of the same durable material as his coat, are of a tailored fit, and are colored pitch black with blood red trim up the sides, as are his thick leather (or leather-like, anyway) combat boots. Every now and again, however, he dresses in a more casual fashion. When the situation calls for more subtlety, he wears an outfit that consists of combat boots, dark relaxed-fit pants, and a seemingly well-worn tan leather jacket that is highly reminiscent of Earth's World War II era fighter pilots. Black fingerless gloves complete the ensemble.
Personality
At first glance, Harmonica seems to be a cold and ruthless killer. And really, that pretty well sums him up, at least as far as most people are concerned. Even his allies feel uneasy around him. His methods are questionable, at best, and he is constantly finding new ways to outdo himself in his mad quest for vengeance and power. So basically, he's pissed off pretty much all the time, which is understandable in a way, considering his tragic past (see: History).
However, deep (and I mean deep) below all the rage and violence, there may yet be traces of the kind and honorable soul that was once so admired back on his homeworld.
Maybe.
Skills, Powers, and Abilities
Death Dealer: Harm is a combatant of the highest order. He has seen countless battles, and is familiar with damn near all of the tricks and tactics. His training is extensive, and he excels in the use of all sorts of weapons, though his preference is the sword. When he fights, he does not waste time (unless it serves his purposes), nor does he adhere to silly things like fair play. He will be as ruthless and vicious as possible in order to destroy anyone and anything that is foolish enough to stand in his way.
Ascendant Soul: Harm wields immense Ether powers, which he uses to enhance his already otherworldly fighting skills. His soul is possessed of a tumultuous storm of twisted energies. Before his conflict with Wolfgang, he had been well known as a powerful manipulator of elemental energies (such as Fire, Wind, Earth, and Lightning). Since his encounter, he has maintained his previous level of ability, in addition to a tremendous affinity to more absolute energies, such as that of the Void. Unknown to him, when he came into direct contact with Wolfgangs power and survived (it is still unknown how, exactly, he managed that), he was "gifted" with a fragment of the vast (truly infinite) power of the Grand Inquisitor. As a result, he is now far more powerful than he was previously.
Mechanoid Power: The mechanoid battle arm that fused with his body has granted him a variety of increased abilities. One such ability is a regenerative healing factor that allows him to recover from injuries at a rate far greater than that of normal humans. Cuts and lacerations will fully heal within a matter of hours, and broken bones a matter of days. Internal injuries will heal after a few days, with proper rest. He can even recover from serious trauma to vital organs, in that wounds that would be fatal to normal people are not necessarily so for Harm. Other benefits include a general immunity to most known toxins and diseases, as well as drastically slowed aging.
Physical Might: Harm has always been a physical specimen, and since his encounter with Wolfgang (as well as the subsequent fusion of the mechanoid arm to his body), his physical parameters have been enhanced to superhuman levels. At default levels, he can lift in excess of ten tons with little difficulty. When overclocking the power of his Nanoflux Arm, he can push his limits in excess of 100 tons. He is incredibly durable, to the point that falls from great heights and severe impacts cause him little to no discomfort. His stamina is possibly among the greatest of his considerable gifts, though, as he is capable of keeping up intense levels of physical activity for well in excess of 24 hours before fatigue even begins to impair him.
The Light of Reckoning: The last remaining essence of a long-forgotten Demon King, who was said to have come the closest of any demon before or since, to successfully invading Heaven. Harm obtained this powerful relic from the shrine where it had been sealed away for millions of years, though how he came to possess the knowledge of its very existence to begin with remains known only to him. Regardless, he has absorbed its vast power into himself, and now commands it as his own. In addition to significantly boosting all of his physical and Ether parameters, it also grants him the ability to traverse dimensional boundaries at will, via the Demon King's Road. There are numerous applications for this, both in and out of battle. For instance, he was able to use it to find his way into the hidden Million Worlds sub-dimension, which had previously only been accessible by the Yggdrasil Space Pirates.
Another application is more simple and straightforward: in battle, he can utilize the Demon King's Road to accelerate his perceptions and move at speeds that defy reason. In reality, it's not that he's actually moving at high speeds, so much as he's taking shortcuts, but the result speaks for itself. The full extent of his capabilities with this skill are unknown, but it's theorized that he would at least be capable of keeping up with the likes of Crim El Furaga.
It is also entirely likely that there are direct offense applications that he is saving for a special occasion.
Will of the Runes: Harm recently obtained the Sovereign Rune, which is the True Rune that governs all forces associated with "absolute rule". The full extent of its powers are unknown, but it is known to completely protect the bearer from all forms of "magic", save for the absolute highest levels of spells. A drawback to this is that it also negates protective and curative magic. Additionally, like all other True Runes, it bestows the bearer with a limited form of immortality, in that it halts aging and negates any poisons, toxins, or illnesses. The "curse" that this Rune brings down upon the bearer is that of "isolation" in exchange for "domination". What this means is, while the bearer can exert his complete and total dominance over people, he can never be close to them. He will have no true friends - only those who serve him and his ambition.
(Hyper)Sonic Speed: While not the fastest being in the multiverse, Harm is still quite speedy. His natural perceptions are fast enough to keep up with hypersonic movement, though his own movement speed tops out at just over the speed of sound. Of course, since obtaining the Light of Reckoning, his natural parameters have roughly quadrupled, effectively elevating him to a Hypersonic class speedster.
Expert Pilot: As a pilot, Harm is not quite as experienced as some. Fortunately, his natural talent and great insight generally makes up for his lack of practical experience. He can only get better from here on out. It is also vital to note that he is fully capable of utilizing the Demon King's Road while piloting his Harbinger Mecha.
Weapons
Eversong Alpha: One of the galactic "Seven Star Swords", this large saber was originally known as "Desert Seeker". It has been wielded by many different warriors in numerous star systems over the span of several thousand years. Legend has it that this very blade was once held by the all powerful "Star King", and was at that time known as "Ragnarok". Harmonica obtained this sword after raiding the ancient ruins of Kisaragi-Kyo-matsu on his home planet, Kalnius.
It is a magnificent work of art, with a four foot long, 1/4 foot wide, single-edged, gleaming platinum-silver and red-trimmed blade. It is mostly straight, until about 3/4 of a foot from the tip of the blade, where is takes a rather dramatic curve back into a lethal point. The hilt is golden with silver trim, and just over one foot in length. It is constantly shining, and has a large hand-guard that provides excellent defense, and does not interfere with offensive capabilities. The sword can be wielded effectively with either one or two hands, as it is much lighter than it looks (though not too light), and perfectly balanced. The material(s) that compose the weapon are not known by name, and are possessed of a high degree of supernatural elements, thus explaining the high destructive power and extreme durability of the sword, to the point that it is nigh indestructible. It is said that this blade is capable of harnessing amazing cosmic energies that can permanently scar the face of a planet by shattering mountains, destroying islands, and carving out enormous chasms.
"Zodiac Nanoflux" ZX/F-99: The culmination of over a decade of cybernetic and nanotech research, this is the first successful prototype of a revolutionary new kind of mechanoid arm. In an effort to drastically improve military-grade cyberetics across an broad spectrum, the genius scientist, Dr. Ioshua Varden, spearheaded unprecedented research into the field of advanced biomechanics. The plan was to devise artificial body parts that were stronger, faster, and more efficient than anything seen before. The key to this, according to Dr. Varden, was nanotechnology. And it turns out, he was right.
Unfortunately, by the time this functional prototype had been successfully produced, the good doctor had exhausted his mind, his body, and the patience of those who ranked above him in the Imperial hierarchy. Then, one day, with Ioshua on the brink of succumbing to madness, a space-battle broke out in the vicinity of his Experimental Weapons Research & Development Laboratory, located in the northern hemisphere of an M-Class moon orbiting the gas giant Teragg-5. The battle was between none other than the Crimson Admonsher Unit, led by Col. Aharonos, and a particularly fierce group of Sardrakkians an incredibly strong dragonoid warrior race from a ultra-high gravity world, with whom the Crimson Knights had been locked in bitter conflict with for the better part of six months, with no sign of any clear victor.
The Admonishers managed to destroy one of the ships, but were shot down themselves in the process. Having crash-landed near the facility, the ensuing ground battle tore through the lab like a hurricane of fire and shrapnel. Most of the personnel were killed in the crossfire, and Col. Aharonos was severely injured by the onslaught of the Sardrakkian commander. That was when he stumbled upon the prototype. With his own (and rather outdated) "Eufortissimo" arm being reduced to little more than useless scrap dangling limply from his shoulder, he figured he had nothing to lose.
While his unit held the enemy at bay, Harmonica ordered (read: forced at swordpoint) the good Dr. Varden to attach the Prototype to him. The doctor begged and pleaded he reconsider, claiming that the prototype was untested, and that they weren't yet certain what kind of impact it would have on a living subject. That it was too soon. That it might just kill him. But Harm wouldn't hear any of it. They were dead either way, and he would be god damned if he wasn't going to at least try to fight his way out of it. So the doctor relented. It was unbearably painful, and Harm did indeed flatline, albeit only for a minute or so. But, the payoff was almost immediate. Something in the arm bonded to Harm in a way that he never imagined possible. All at once, he felt reinvigorated. The nanomachines. They were no doubt responsible. They had somehow infused him with new energy. His wounds began to heal; even old injuries. Even Varden was surprised at the unforeseen turn of events. Ultimately, the Sardrakkians were soundly defeated, thanks in no small part to the Colonel and his new (and much improved) left arm.
The arm is silver, sleek, and much more "organic" in appearance than the previous model, and it can alter its shape and color to varying degrees based on necessity (Harm prefers gunmetal black). The Colonel is able to utilize all of the same equipment as he had been with his previous arm, being that once the arm comes into contact with compatible equipment, it reads the data and incorporates it automatically. On command, the arm can utilize any of the weapons that exist within its database, at any given time. The arm is self-repairing, and considerably stronger than any other limb that Harm has used before. And it cannot be removed from him, which was much to the chagrin of the Dr. Varden. And, with the research facility destroyed, Harm's is the only prototype in existence. It is unclear whether the arm is a technological anomaly, or if others of its type could have theoretically been produced as well.
Current Nanoflux Weapons:
Claw: The default equipment. It is simply a reinforced forearm, equipped with a clawed hand that is razor-sharp, and extremely deadly. It is perfectly capable of deflecting/blocking sword blows and the like.
Gatling: A relatively simple Gatling gun, which is light and reliable. When not in use, it is folded back, parallel with the forearm. Good range and accuracy, but not particularly powerful, at least when compared to some of the other weapons out there.
Blade: A three-foot long, high-frequency blade that is attached to the forearm. It is rapidly flipped forward when in use, and held parallel with the forearm when retracted. It is capable of slicing through solid titanium armor with little difficulty.
Grappler: A combo weapon that includes a compact shield/rocket anchor attached to the forearm, along with a beam boomerang attached to the shoulder. It is quite useful, and relatively light, though the boomerang can be somewhat unreliable. The shield/anchor is great for parrying melee weapons and has proven to be an effective, highly versatile tool.
Tri-Beam: A triple beam cannon mounted on the forearm. Much like the Gatling, it is reliable and accurate, with great range. However, while it is significantly more powerful than the Gatling, it has a much lower firing rate.
Crusher: A heavy close-quarters weapon. It is a large crushing claw, attached to the forearm, used primarily to damage/destroy weapons. It is quite powerful, capable of grasping objects and crushing them with upwards of twenty tons of force.
Bunker: A heavy close quarters weapon. It is a large pile-driver, attached to the forearm, used primarily to penetrate thick armor. A tremendously powerful weapon that is fully capable of piercing the outer hull of a starship, or what have you.
"Trikeros": An extremely large and incredibly powerful combo weapon system that includes an giant shield, high-velocity anti-armor penetrators, a beam rifle, and a beam sword. It appears to be somewhat unwieldy, but Harm is nonetheless able to utilize its extreme versatility and defensive prowess to great effect.
Armor
Cloak of Admonishment - A long, flowing cloak, the color of blood, with black and gold trim. When not in battle, it fully conceals Harm's left side, including his mechanical left arm. It is imbued with mystical properties which offer considerable defenses against all manner of energy-based assaults (including beam weapons and magic attacks), but its physical defenses are essentially nonexistent.
Accessories
Mark of Kyo - A mysterious red and gold emblem, displaying an ornate dragon twisted around what appears to be a shuriken. It protects the wearer from harmful abnormalities.
Celsius Crest - A light blue crystalline charm in the shape of a snowflake. It glitters beautifully when exposed to light, and protects the wearer from Ice-elemental attacks.
Vehicle Information
CV-XR022 "Javelin" - Harm's customized combat motorcycle. It is capable of breaking the sound barrier, and it is extremely fast to accelerate. Harm can call it remotely via a voice-activated link-up installed in his artificial arm. It is powered by a fragment of a rare form of crystallized fire, known as the "Kizim Fire", which provides a steady and plentiful stream of energy for the vehicle.

Mecha Information
DIS-001 "Discordia" - A project almost two years in the making, Harmonica had this monster of a machine constructed using secret facilities and personnel located in and around various Empire-controlled territories. Referred to as a "Harbinger", it is a vicious machine designed to kill and destroy without mercy. The Harbinger is, in his mind, the ultimate weapon for use against certain "super-powered" beings, such as Wolfgang of U-TIC. To that end, it makes use of technologies that are very high-tier and incredibly rare. He spent a fortune working on it, and whenever he ran low on funds, he simply took what he needed by force. Suffice it to say, countless souls were murdered in cold blood for the sake of this machine.
Its systems are fine-tuned specifically for Harm, to the point that it simply cannot be operated by anyone other than him. Made primarily of rare and highly durable Orichalconium, the unit is optimized for both physical and Ether-based combat (much like the Gears and Geardams utilized by U-TIC and the Yggdrasil Pirates). Powered by the mysterious "Discordian Driver", from which its codename is derived, the machine draws from a combined pool of dark energy and the pilot's own Ether power, which in turn grants it a nigh limitless operating time (though it can be extremely taxing on Harm himself). Its true claim to supremacy, however, may very well be its speed. Capable of hypersonic velocities (upper limit: unknown), it can perform truly spectacular aerial feats at breakneck speeds. This is due to the Etherwave thrusters mounted in its wings, which draw from the vast reserves provided by the Discordian Driver.

Ship Information
PER-002 "Peregrinus II" - This is the vessel that was originally commissioned for the exclusive use of the Crimson Admonisher Unit. It is a small ship by most standards, measuring just 110 meters in length, with a wingspan of just under eighty. It is designed to be fully functional with a crew of as few as four individuals, but for basic efficiency, a crew of at least eight is required, and for optimal efficiency, a maximum crew of sixteen is needed. There are four individual living quarters for the Commander and his Lieutenants, and two larger barracks for other crew members/guests. There is also a brig for holding prisoners and insubordinate crew. The ship is equipped with a small Mecha Hangar which can accommodate up to six average-sized Mobile Units, and up to three small support craft (ie: shuttles). The vessel is outfitted with highly advanced armor, weapon, and propulsion systems, all of which can be accessed from the Commander's chair at any given time, though typically, orders are issued and thus carried out by subordinates. The main distinguishing feature of the Peregrinus is its advanced stealth capabilities, which render it almost completely undetectable to enemy vessels. Some may argue, however, that its main weapon, the "Thunder Smasher", is even more impressive. Unfortunately, only one can be employed at a time, due to the amount of energy consumed by both devices.
This is actually the second Peregrinus, as the original was shot down and destroyed during the Crimson Rebellion. This ship currently serves as Harm's mobile base of operations.

Biography
Emperor Harmonica Aharonos is a man consumed by grief, rage, guilt, and revenge. His need for vengeance is so powerful that it seems to possess a will of its own. A will so strong, that the laws of reality and probability themselves appear to bend in order to accommodate it. Whether or not this is the case, it is a cold hard fact that Harm's need for revenge has manifested into an unparalleled ambition that has enabled him to build a powerful empire from the ground up, almost entirely on the back of his own tireless efforts. Of course, it's also been built upon a solid foundation of corpses.
Even if he goes to hell for it, he will not stop until he has amassed enough power to destroy those responsible for ruining his life. Wolfgang must die.
History
DEATH & DESTRUCTION
Xeralin, The Royal Capital of Xeralia, was burning, causing the night sky to light up with dancing flames the color of blood. The blood of the people, the innocent citizens of the once magnificent city, spilled en masse. All because of the cowardly actions of the god-cursed Royal Council! If only they had chosen the right path! Damn them!
The tall and evidently battle-worn man, clad in emerald green lightweight combat armor, which was the standard-issue equipment for Officers of the Xeralian Royal Armed Forces, rushed down a ruined street, as if possessed by complete and utter madness. The street, which was once a bustling marketplace, was now littered with debris and corpses. It reeked of death and smoke.
His flowing cape, which matched his armor, was stained red and black from blood and ash. His silver hair was also marred by the taint of his many battles on this most odious of days. The darkest day in the history of the proud Kingdom of Xeralia. No...not only Xeralia...the entirety of Kalnius. Even the Celestial Gate Wars of legend paled in comparison to this hell.
He wheeled around a corner, and came face-to face with a grotesquely vile and clearly hostile creature. Another one of those irksome fiends...what were they called? -Wels-. Also known as Reapers. Yes, Reapers...the foul death-bringers, creeping and crawling around the countryside, massacring and devouring. They craved the blood of humans. They needed it.
The Officer's large single-edged saber lashed out immediately, its gleaming silver blade cutting straight and true. The creature stood no chance against the skillful might of the warrior, and its black blood was sent spraying in a pitch dark geyser. A few tiny droplets managed to stain the smooth, otherwise flawless olive-tanned skin of the swordsman, just below his pristine blue-silver eyes.
He didn't stop. He couldn't. There was no time for a reprieve. At the very least, he would save them...all he needed to do was make it to the Palace.
The Royal Palace soon came into view, after several more minutes of non-stop running, all the while slaying Reaper after horrible Reaper. Those accursed mutants! No, it wasn't their fault. They were made that way. They had no choice in the matter. No, the real ones to blame were their godrotting creators. The U-TIC Organization.
Nearing the gates, he was immediately greeted with a scene that was both hopeless and gallant, as a group of Xeralian Soldiers fought valiantly to fend off an encroaching horde of Reapers, who came in all sorts of frightful shapes and sizes, relentless in their mindless assault.
Guns blazed, spewing veritable storms of bullets into the gathering mass of Reapers, cutting them down rapidly. Those who managed to get through the hail of gunfire were then met with bolts of Elemental Magic. Fire erupted, Lighting struck, and Earth rumbled, tearing the intrusive creatures asunder with the unbridled fury of true warriors fighting with all they had to offer, and more.
And yet, still they came. However, as they broke through, they were only met with the tip of the spear and the slash of the sword. Even so, the creatures steadily pushed back the defense line.
This was not to be the end! Their valiant actions were not to be in vain! The Officer slid to a halt at the flank of the Reapers, and unleashed his surprisingly powerful voice into the night air as he raised his blade high.
"Don't give up! Keep fighting! HAAAA!!!"
A deep, perilous surge of black and red energy rushed forth from his blade, basking the entire area in its fearsome power briefly, before suddenly being drawn back and focused entirely within the sword, which was now absolutely saturated with the dark, non-elemental energy, as intense bolts of red, white, and black danced furiously across the formerly glimmering surface.
A single soldier recognized the officer almost immediately, just before being laid to rest at the claws of a Reaper. As he was struck down, he shouted the name of the swordsman with the last of his strength...
"C-Commander Aharonos...!"
Instantly, morale was drastically increased all around. With steadfast determination, Commander Harmonica Aharonos leaped high into the air, and turned his fiercely empowered blade down towards the pack of ravenous Reapers. His mighty descent ended in a devastating explosion of black non-elemental energy, complimented with massive bolts of bright red and white which cut across and into the ground, which was already being uprooted violently by the sheer force of the Commander's rampage.
As the dust and debris settled, the Reaper swarm was revealed to have been utterly decimated. All that remained was the lone figure of Harmonica, in the center of a rather sizable crater of his own making. The remaining soldiers, worn-out and injured, looked on in awe at the legendary power of their commander. They had truly thought that this was to be their final battle...and were now filled with both hope and determination.
Shortly, Harmonica was back on his feet, still clutching his blade, the Eversong Alpha in his right hand. As he approached, each man and woman stood at attention (as best they could), and offered a proper salute to their Commander. With a simple wave of his gloved hand, he ordered them to stand easy.
"Well done!" He said with pride in his voice. "You have done your country a tremendous service today, and your actions will not be in vain!"
"Sir! The Council members...we failed to protect them." A male sergeant bowed his head in shame.
"It doesn't matter," Commander Aharonos said quickly. "It was their actions that caused this disaster in the first place. As long as the King is safe..."
"Yes sir." The sergeant looked up. "The King and his family have already been taken to the Frontier Base. They're safe."
"For the moment," said a female corporal, her voice quiet and trembling.
"Hold your tongue!" the sergeant spat.
"No, she's right." Harmonica said. "You must all make haste. Evacuate and regroup at the Frontier Base. That's an order. Now go!"
"Yes sir! Alright everyone, you heard the Commander! Move out!"
And with that, the exhausted soldiers turned and began to run back in the direction that the Commander had come from. The last to leave was the sergeant. He lingered in order to relay a final bit of important information to Harmonica.
"Sir...the Council...they...it was horrible what befell them." The sergeant struggled, fighting back tears. "That man...his power. And they say there was another, in Kurosa...his forces annihilated their entire country using those giant machines. The whole of Kurosa, sir...gone, overnight. Sir...I fear that your family is...-"
"So, he's in there?" Commander Aharonos interrupted. "The Devil himself..."
"...I don't know. He killed the council, and then...he just disappeared."
The Commander paused for a brief moment. "...Go now. I'll join you all once I've finished here. Protect the Royal Family with your life, Sergeant."
"Yes, sir. And...please be careful."
The sergeant offered a quick salute, and then took off, catching up to the rest of his unit. Moments later, Harmonica turned to face the palace, with was ablaze, and largely in ruin. It would be nothing but a pile of smoldering rubble by dawn, but he could not abandon it. Not yet. Not until he rescued his beloved wife, and precious daughter. Surely they yet lived...surely. He also swore to defeat that monster...that demon with red-hair. The Grand Inquisitor of U-TIC, who was known only as Wolfgang...
Wasting no more time, Harmonica began to bolt forward. However, he hardly moved ten paces before a force unlike any he had ever seen or felt erupted from within the bowels of the palace, instantly atomizing the entire area in its white hot inferno. The shockwave knocked him off his feet, and sent him tumbling roughly across the ground for several meters. He only just barely managed to right himself before being slammed into a section of the high wall that surrounded the palace.
He looked on, completely horrified and momentarily deaf, blind, and dumb...tears began to stream down his face, tinted red by his own blood which seeped from an unseen wound on his head. After several moments, as the light began to slowly fade from existence, his agonized scream echoed throughout the ruined capital. And as he cried out for the loss of his family, who had almost certainly perished in the blast, the outline of a single figure slowly came into view. He was walking towards him, clad in a flowing white duster, with his left arm wrapped in dark leather straps, held in place by a series of shiny metallic clasps. His right leg was done up in a similar fashion. The man, with wild red hair, and a sharp-featured face, twisted into a sardonic sneer, glared directly at Harmonica with piercing azure-green eyes...and his entire form radiated with a form of absolute energy that struck the Commander to his very core. It was simply overwhelming. How was this even possible!? He felt sick, like he was on the verge of being torn apart from the inside out, while also being imploded and reduced to sheer nothingness. In the presence of this power, he was but an insect in the face of God.
And then, the man, who Harmonica knew was none other than Wolfgang himself, spoke. His voice was shockingly calm, yet also possessed of a certain underlying hint of...something else, which the Commander couldn't quite place, perhaps due to his current state of affairs, which was dire at best.
"Ah. And you must be the Legendary Warrior they spoke so highly of. I must say, you're a little shorter than I expected," Wolfgang regarded the other man with a contemptuous gaze. "What was it they called you... 'Harm' I think it was, am I right?"
"...Damn you to hell!" Harm seethed through gritted teeth.
"Been there, done that," Wolfgang sighed. "Nice place to visit though. I'm sure your family will have a wonderful time. I'd be more than happy to send you to join them. All expenses paid...ha ha ha ha..."
"You bastard!" Harm yelled. "I'll kill you myself!!!"
Running on pure rage, Harm blindly rushed in, slashing vigorously with his powerful blade, only to find that his attack, which would have surely killed most any other man, demon, or beast, had been inexplicably stopped. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his right wrist, and realized all at once that Wolfgang had somehow managed to catch him mid-attack, in a vice-like grip.
With an almost divine level of strength and speed, Wolfgang twisted Harm's arm, causing the Commander to be forced to let go of his trusted blade, which clattered to the ground. Wolfgang then forced Harm several feet into the air, and delivered a fiercely powerful kick to the center of his exposed back. The armor he wore was no match for the sheer power of the blow, and was shattered on impact, reduced to shards of glimmering fragments that were scattered across the ground as Harm's body tumbled to a halt several meters away...but he didn't remain down for long. In spite of the vicious attack, he stood up again almost immediately...which only prompted Wolfgang to smirk even more.
Casually, Wolfgang kicked Harm's blade towards the unarmed swordsman. It spun around along the ground in a straight line, right to Harm's feet. With no hesitation, the Commander picked it up, and pointed it menacingly at Wolfgang.
"Big mistake!"
"We'll see. Come on now, I don't have all day," Wolfgang smirked.
"Grr!" Harm grunted.
What followed was a truly dazzling display of what made Harm such a legendary warrior. He seemed to vanish completely from sight...his speed was amazing. He sporadically reappeared, seemingly at random, as he blazed a path straight for Wolfgang, who didn't seem the least bit concerned. Each time Harm randomly appeared, he unleashed a lethal blade of dark black and red energy, which soared through the air at truly fantastic velocity, and collided forcefully with the stationary form of Wolfgang, erupting in a series of increasingly violent explosions, which only built upon one another as they continued to pile up. And then, within mere moments, Harm himself materialized directly in front of Wolfgang (or at least the area where he was standing...if he was still standing), and his form became semi-transparent as he literally split into four identical forms, which rapidly spread out to surround Wolfgang on all sides.
"Phantom Soul Slash!"
One of his most famous techniques: the Phantom Soul Slash, which was thought to be inescapable. Each form abruptly surged forward, stabbing and slashing simultaneously from four different vectors. The ghost-like forms each moved through the target, causing considerable (if not completely lethal) damage. Once the attack was concluded, the forms, which had each switch positions with the one across from it, reconvened in the same manner and position as they had initially split off, only now, Harm was facing away from the target. With a final swing of his blade, a series of vibrant energy rings burst violently forth from the center of the target, causing even more damage as they extended outward for a considerable distance.
Smiling, Harm began to turn around, resting his blade solidly atop his right shoulder as he did so.
What he saw was enough to make his jaw drop.
Wolfgang still stood. And whats more, he seemed to be completely unaffected, with nary a scratch on him. But how? How could that even be possible? There was just no way.
And then, almost all at once, his mind was filled with images. Images of actions that had been seen, but not fully processed until now. A mysterious barrier of some kind, fueled by that absolute power that sent chills to his very core. It had completely protected the red-haired devil, and, in addition to that...the bastard had been able to counter...
He collapsed to his knee, thrusting his sword into the ground in order to maintain his balance. He had been struck several times in rapid succession, at key vital points, during his attack...but how? It was impossible. He had attacked from four different angles, all at once, and all the while, he was in an only semi-corporeal state.
He began a fit of coughs, and covered his mouth with his left hand. Upon drawing it back, he saw it was covered in blood. He couldn't remember ever being in as much pain. It was a battle in and of itself to simply remain conscious. And yet, he was able to at least muster up the strength to look his enemy straight in the eye...and slowly rise to his feet, though he had to use his sword as a cane, for support, lest he collapse entirely.
So...this was the end. It seemed almost fitting, somehow. For a brief moment, a feeling of calmness swept over him. Harm felt almost blissful, and simultaneously, vengeful. He silently cursed the black soul of the one who had defeated him, killed his family...and destroyed his country. His world.
But then, something unexpected happened. Maniacal laughter erupted from the sneering lips of Wolfgang, who had abruptly extended his left arm towards Harm. The straps that covered the limb suddenly burst apart, exposing Wolfgang's true cybernetic nature. The terrifying mechanical appendage began to shift, right before Harm's strained eyes, and assumed the form of what could only be described as a terrifying weapon of mass destruction, containing a level of power that went well beyond Harm's most insane nightmares. The sound was almost deafening, but somehow, Wolfgang's voice managed to rise above it.
"YOU HAVE BEEN DEEMED WORTHY TO HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD! I HEREBY PASS HIS JUDGEMENT UPON YOU! AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!"
And with that, Wolfgang unleashed the unhindered fury of his Metraton Cannon upon the utterly defenseless form of Harmonica. It was in the midst of such blinding and pure white light that everything went dark.
REVENGE & REBIRTH
Harmonica found himself wandering for many years following the destruction of his beloved homeland. He was lost, destitute, missing his left arm, and unaware of where or even who he was for a very long time. Slowly, he regained his memories, and his purpose became increasingly clear. He knew that his survival was no accident. It was destiny, and he was destined to rain fiery judgement down upon the heads of those evil tyrants who had so callously stolen not only his life, but that of his family as well. Revenge became his cause, his reason for being, and to that end, he aligned himself with the Aesir Empire. Specifically, he lent his considerable might to their elite combat force: The Order of Crimson Knights.
Of course, his reasons had been purely self-serving from the beginning. He had no interest in their paltry missions of conquest. His purpose was to merely use their impressive resources to further his own quest for revenge. Over the course of his time with the CK, he amassed a great deal of wealth and resources, most of which he kept fully hidden from even those closest to him within his unit, known as the Crimson Admonishers. Through many battles and countless victories for the Empire, Harmonica became well-known, and even revered by some as a hero. However, those in the upper echelons of power within the Knights and the Empire began to fear his power and influence, and sought to get rid of him.
He had, of course, seen through their schemes, and was able to act pre-emptively. In a move that stunned everyone, even his own Crimson Admonishers, Harm suddenly defected to the Sardrakkian Empire. In exchange for what they perceived to be a treasure trove of information and technology, the Sardrakkians provided Harmonica with his very own habitable moon (a large moon, very similar to Earth on the whole, virtually untouched) to rule over as he saw fit.
It would be on this moon, dubbed "New Kalnius", that Harm planned the glorious rebirth of his lost homeland.
