The Avesta System and the God Fears.
What is the Avesta System?
The Avesta system was developed by U-TIC for unspecified reasons. It was an attempt to create another Zohar like device, but modified and tapping into a new source of power. It's power output is on par and in some cases can actually out produce the Zohar in raw throughput. The source that it taps into is unknown as those associated with making the device have been “silenced” or had accidental deaths.
OOC Knowledge: The system has tapped into an imprisoned Omniversal Primal who is more than willing to provide his power in a long game to eventually free himself. Omniversal Primals are beings born in the earliest days of all creation and have the power to effect multiple universes at the same time with ease.
Why were the God Fears transferred to this new system and what can they do?
The God Fears were produced as part of a weapon system that connected to the Zohar through the Deus Energy System. After the main battles to save the universe were over some concerns were brought up about having them connected to the Zohar as well as other things.
They were disconnected from the system for thousands of years until the creation of the Avesta. The Avesta being of similar nature was designed in part to power the God Fears and thus get a stronger power boost than they had when connected to the Zohar.
Traditionally the “DES Relics” all had names that corresponded to the names of the Anima Relics they were designed after, but having been connected to this new system all the Relics were given new “Avesta” names.
The Weapons however have started to act differently from their original forms and seem to be changing through influences not understood yet.
The weapons draw from the infinite well of Ether produced from the Avesta and boost natural abilities of the user. The aging process stops and your body becomes immune to diseases and toxins as the weapon will purify your body with a cleansing ether. Complete effects vary by the user, with more research needed for any hard line conclusions.
OOC Knowledge: The God Fears were transferred over to free up the Zohar to make it more focused. The Omniversal Primals will is altering how the Weapons originally worked and that is why they have done things like fusing with Uzukis Eclipse Rune.
What the weapons do, is completely up to the user of the weapon itself and the character wielding it. In terms of tiers it almost always jumps a character up two tier levels. If your guy was a street level you are most likely now a national threat. A Metro would jump up to global etc... However pushing above cosmic is not possible.(The cosmic level can be breached on special occasions)
Any open weapon can be claimed, but you might have to kill the current user. The names of the weapons can change on a new user as the weapon might alter due to the user. Example: Uzukis weapon was “Dawn of all Days” but after the merge with the rune it became “Last Eclipse”.
Avesta God Fear list.
The first name is the Avesta Relic name itself. If a Relic can be claimed it has an “Open” next to it.
If a Relic has a final home the character name will follow with the name of the actual Weapon the relic is connected to.
An open Relic that can be claimed may also have a current NPC placeholder that it must be taken from or lost.
